BACKGROUND AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

BSc in Environmental Sciences and MSc in Marine Sciences. Since 2018, I work as a technician responsible for setting-up, maintaining and monitoring culture-based systems with cold-water corals that are used for the development of paleo-proxies based on elemental and isotopic ratios on their skeletons. I also have expertise in water chemistry analysis to study the carbon system in seawater, being responsible for sampling and analyzing pH and alkalinity at fixed time series in the Mediterranean coast and oceanographic cruises. In addition, I assist in the processing and analysis of marine sediments used as archives to study past ocean conditions.
